Our entire production process is in High Definition. We use the latest in professional Sony High Definition XDCAM video cameras. All of our editing work is done on Apple non-linear editing systems using the Final Cut Pro editing application. A LITTLE STORY FROM ONE OF MY WEDDINGS A FEW YEARS AGO——THIS IS WHAT WE CALL THE INFAMOUS ‘ WE HAD UNCLE BOB DO OUR WEDDING VIDEO’ SYNDROME. We were shooting a wedding somewhere in Missouri. They were a very nice wedding couple and the wedding was going great ALMOST to the very end. I was shooting my camera angle off to the right of the altar when I noticed someone (who was not with our production team) was on the opposite side of the altar from where I was standing with a video camcorder. He had just walked up to the altar and seemed to have appeared from nowhere and was trying to get some shots of the bride and groom right before the ‘kiss’ at the end. Well, there were about 10 candleabras that were lined up from left to right of the altar where the bride and groom were standing. You probably know what happens next. Yes, he bumped the first candleabra and they started falling like dominos. Every candle had hit the ground and there was wax and fire and candle stands scattered everywhere on the altar. Bottom line. It literally destroyed their reception. The wedding coordinator of the church DEMANDED that the bride and groom stay behind to clean up the horrible mess before they went to their reception. They had family and friends frantically helping them clean up. They still did not reach the reception for 3 hours. Most of their guests had left by then. Just let ‘Uncle Bill’ enjoy your wedding. You get everything that is photographed and it is put on a DVD
for your printing, archiving, sharing, etc. We can keep the cost down
on your photos since we are not printing.
10 DVD copies of video and 10 DVD copies of photos
We will also Custom Print your wedding information right on the DVD disc for that professional look. We do not use labels because they can cause problems during the playback of your DVD.
We can also convert your Wedding Video to a Quicktime file so you can play on your iPhone, iPad, computer, etc. If you want a High Definition QuickTime file we can do that as well.
The only thing is that it will take up quite a bit of hard drive space (25GB to 75GB) but it is a great way to view and also archive your wedding video. This is a great way to maintain the original high definition quality throughout. I highly recommend. We also have Blu-Ray available.
